Mobius 5i / S200
The Mobius5i/S200 is a slimline alternative to the Mobius5i, measuring 200mm wide. The Mobius5i/S200 incorporates OptiDamping, OptiDrive and Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology to give smooth high frequency extension and low frequency performance with medium power-handling capabilities.
Product Description
The Mobius5i/S200 provides a slimline alternative to the Mobius5i invisible loudspeaker, for use when there is limited stud/joist spacing or for use in curved walls/ceilings with a radius greater than 5m. Using the same OptiDrive and OptiDamping technology as the full-size Mobius5i and benefitting from the ‘i’ upgrade, the Mobius5i/S200 is easy to install and is rendered invisible behind a 2mm plaster skim or other material such as solid wood, veneers, leather or stone veneers such as slate. The Mobius5i/S200 is the perfect solution for aesthetically sensitive applications where space is limited.
Example Applications
Invisible audio installations with space limitations or when installing into a curved wall or ceiling. Can be supplied with high-impedance 100/70V transformer.
Frequency Response
The Backbox CV200 creates an acoustically tuned and consistent cavity behind the speaker, helping to ensure both consistent audio quality as well as minimising rearward airborne sound transmission where Mobius loudspeakers are installed into stud walls/ceiling.
The BackboxSW200 provides a strong mechanical fixing method for solid blockwork and concrete walls/ceilings.
All new slim-line design, giving reliable speaker protection for life-time worry free performance, in a unit that can be conveniently dressed back with any cable management system or sit neatly behind the rack.
Both 8-channel and 16-channel passive rack-mounted protection units are available for Mobius Series Loudspeakers. For use in installations with higher numbers of low-impedance speakers with a centralised AV rack. Direct-to-PCB screw terminal-blocks allow for fast and easy permanent installation.
